CHEAP Fender USA Standard Telecaster 1988 Gunmetal Blue in Frampton Cotterell, Gloucestershire for sale

Regretfully selling my '88 US Tele as i'm relocating abroad. I had this 28 year-old, soon to be vintage guitar shipped over from the US around 5 years ago (California) where it belonged to a member of a Casino House Jazz Band, and before that it was apparently gigged around the Western States pretty much from it's inception with a Folk-Rock band. Due to it's age and history, this guitar has been played well and it shows some signs of usage. The main ding is next to the arm rest area where the finish has been chipped, although now its been painted over with a pretty accurate colour match. I've included a close up of the ding and a couple splits in the lacquer. Please bear in mind the wear is only cosmetic and has no affect on the sound or play of the guitar! The pickups have been changed to Seymour Duncan STR-2 Hot in the neck, and a Seymour Duncan STL-3 Quarter Pounder in the bridge. It still has the original stock TBX tone pot and i have removed the cover metal for the neck pickup. This allows the pole magnets to be brought closer to the strings which gives for a brighter sound. Freshly strung and polished by myself with brand new Ernie Ball Super Slinky's. I'll also throw in a used but perfectly functional TKL Hardcase and a lead i've had lying around.
